I have a fond love for water.
It’s the place that I call home.
All year long, I swim in open water.
The interplay of reflection, movement, colour, are a source of inspiration.

For this project I use analog cameras.
They force me to look, to accept the technical possibilities, to wait for the result.

As a photographer, I have a tremendous respect for painting.
In my images, I seek the fine line between photography and painting.

Each image is unique.
Just like every movement, every reflection and every subtle colour variation of the water is special, there can only be one print per negative.
